A NEW INDUSTRIAL INITIATIVE

What lies unused
with one business
could be just what
another needs.

We help make long-held, unused industrial inventory discoverable to those who may have a genuine requirement for it.

01 / THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND DISCOVERY

Built on industrial
experience.Powered by technology.

35+

years of experience selling industrial products across major industrial sectors

Building the technology is one part. The demanding work is understanding the inventory.

What it is, whether its specifications and condition make it relevant, and where it could still serve a purpose.

EXPERTISE ACROSS GEOGRAPHIES

Our panel of industry experts across geographies provides additional review and re-verification where needed, before an item is accepted into our global inventory collection.

Industrial judgment guides what we accept and make discoverable.

A FOCUSED ENVIRONMENT FOR INDUSTRIAL DISCOVERY

Relevant inventory.
Credible participants.
A clear path forward.

UIL focuses on long-held, unused industrial inventory that merits discovery. Each item is reviewed before it is accepted, helping you concentrate on potentially relevant inventory rather than sift through unrelated listings.

01 / THE HOLDER

Credibility at the source.

Identity, credibility and authority to offer the inventory are checked before acceptance.

02 / THE ITEM

Understanding what exists.

Identification, specifications, condition and supporting information are reviewed, with expert re-verification where needed.

03 / THE INTERESTED PARTY

Relevant interest.

Enquiries are vetted as they progress, helping establish relevant interest before engagement.

No placement charges. No advertisements. No registration needed to begin.

Share basic inventory information or begin exploring without a lengthy sign-up. Registration and applicable participation requirements arise when a genuine enquiry progresses to engagement.

FOR HOLDERS

Dead stock.
Unused machinery.
Excess inventory.

Still undiscovered?

A potential buyer could be out there.

A project changed. A requirement ended. More was purchased than finally needed. The inventory stayed behind.

If it remains unused and potentially useful, let us explore whether it could meet a requirement elsewhere.

Start with the basic information you have. We’ll guide you through what is needed next.

FOR THOSE INTERESTED

Looking for
quick availability?
A better deal?

What someone has held for years could be just what you need.

The machinery, component or spare you are looking for may already exist in another organisation’s stores.

Explore potentially relevant inventory, assess its suitability and decide whether to take the discussion forward.

If you haven’t found what you need, tell us your requirement.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO LOOK AT WHAT EXISTS

Not everything
unavailable
is truly unavailable.

Industrial requirements change. Inventory can lose its original purpose without losing its usefulness.

Yet the organisation holding an item and the organisation needing it may never know about each other.

Undiscovered Inventory exists to help close that gap—by understanding what is held, reviewing the available information and helping suitable inventory reach those for whom it may be relevant.

02 / THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE INITIATIVE

Different expertise.
A shared industrial purpose.

03 / WHAT BELONGS HERE

Held for years.
Worth a closer look.

Our focus is long-held, unused industrial inventory whose original requirement has ended or whose prospects through normal channels have diminished.

This may include unused machinery, equipment, components and spares that remain potentially relevant to an industrial requirement.

Every submission is reviewed before acceptance. We consider the item’s identity, condition, supporting information and suitability for the initiative.

Held for years does not automatically mean useful. It deserves a closer look.

04 / HOW IT WORKS

A considered route
from discovery to decision.

01

Share or explore

Tell us what you hold, or explore inventory that may meet your requirement.

02

Understand the item

UIL reviews submitted inventory and seeks the information needed for discovery. Interested parties examine the relevant technical details before deciding to proceed.

03

Connect when there is genuine interest

Availability is reconfirmed, and the applicable participation steps are completed before holder–interested party engagement begins.

04

Decide together

The participants assess suitability, arrange any necessary inspection and agree their own commercial terms. UIL facilitates the connection; the inventory and transaction decisions remain with them.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

A few things you
may want to know.

Does UIL buy my inventory?

No. The inventory remains with you. UIL helps make suitable items discoverable and facilitates engagement.

Is every submission accepted?

Each item is reviewed. We focus on inventory that fits the initiative and has sufficient information for meaningful discovery.

Does review mean the item is certified?

UIL reviews the information provided. The holder remains responsible for its accuracy, and the interested party assesses suitability and condition before purchase.

Is a buyer or quick availability guaranteed?

No. Discovery depends on a relevant requirement, confirmed availability and an acceptable outcome for both participants.

How does UIL earn?

UIL’s commercial model is linked to successful realisation. Applicable charges and any deposit requirements are explained before commercial engagement.
